When you score that find that just “lights up your life” if even just a little bit?
I love, love, love, candles, but because my daughter, Shantel, is blind, I can’t just put open flame candles anywhere I want them throughout my house. Not knowing where they were, Shantel could run into them and catch her hair or clothes on fire or knock them off the table or counter and set the whole house on fire…
So what’s a candle loving girl to do? Well, I do light candles but I make sure Shantel knows where I set them, keep them up high, and only light them in the room I plan to stay in. It works out alright, but it still leaves a lot of rooms where I can’t have my candle light for ambience for special occasions like dinner parties or say romantic evengings…you get the picture right?
Well, not anymore…These flamless candles below from Costco are my score find of the month! They come three to a pack for $29.00, Not a bad price at that, but just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, it did, because I had a coupon for $10.00 off on them. Merry Christmas me!
Note: I have no clue what I did but I set my camera on the little thing that looks like a roll of film and I was able to capture this picture that actually shows the candles lit…we don’t need to go into how long I was trying and every picture came out without the candles lit which wasn’t pretty at all…I’m learning my friends, I’m learning:)
These flameless candles run on two AA batteries, send out the same amount of light as a real flame candle, and they even flicker!!! But, the very best thing I love about these little treasures is they even run on a timer…YES, I know, I couldn’t hardly believe it myself, but it’s true. They have a little switch on the bottom you can set so whatever time you turn them on, they will run for five hours and turn themselves off…but wait, OMG, it gets better…the next day they will turn themselves back on at the same time you turned them on the day before…and if you want to change the time they come on and off you just turn them off again and turn them back on at the new time you want to have them come on every evening…or you can just turn them on and off manually if you choose to do so… How way cool is that?
So now when I have all my family/friends over for Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve dinner…my house will be filled with lots of flickering candles, both real in the high places and these lovely flameless candles wherever my little heart desires:)
I LOVE IT!
Stay Tuned!

Harvey works at Home Depot and he has brought these candles home to me several times in different sizes and I just love them especially during the holidays. I usually have my PB scented candle burning but I do love these sitting around our home. They are wonderful for you and I am so glad you discovered them.
