Another One Bites The Dust

Another Halloween is over, but oh, what a fun-filled time we I had!

I had our house all decorated up for Halloween on the 1st of October and waited patiently all month for Halloween night so we could  hand out candy to all the adorable little children who I know were just as excited as I was about that “special, magical night”. You see I still remember the joy of going house to house to get my Halloween treats when I was a little girl and I guess in some ways I just never really grew up!

I turned on our front porch light so all the adorable little children would know we welcome them to our house to get their Halloween treats.

I put my magic witch hat on and asked my ghost, husband, Bill (he turns into a ghost sometimes that’s why you can’t see him in this picture), to set our camping chairs up in our driveway so we could be right out there for all our new neighbors to see what fun new neighbors we will be…

When my “ghost” husband, Bill, showed up again, I asked him to hold the 300 snack size pieces of candy in our non-breakable bowl, and look alive …in case someone comes by while I ran to get our drinks…as you can see…he doesn’t follow directions very well as in “look alive“…:)

But we waited, and waited, and waited, and waited…and some of us “ghost’s” even began to think of giving up…but not me, because I knew some little adorable children were going to come to my house just any minute…

Then, guess what? THEY DID…YES…,we had 20-25 little adorable children come to our house to get their Halloween treats…and they all LOVED my witch hat, and I loved all of them!

So, you see, you should never give up on having fun…and making  helping, your ghost husband to have fun with you…

*Note to readers – I asked my ghost husband if I wasn’t around…say like I was in NYC with my frissy on a Halloween night…would he still sit out front and pass out candy for all the adorable little children..? He very quickly, without even giving it much thought at all, just said “NO”!  Guess that means I can never leave home on Halloween!

Now…what to do with all that left over candy…hmmm…OH, that’s right, my ghost, daughter, Shantel, who didn’t want to participate in Halloween either, said she will “take care” of it…hmmm…

Oh well, now I’m on to decorating for Thanksgiving!!! :):):)

Stay Tuned!
